 PA0EKA Antenna
Here is the situation on my QTH

On the roof of my appartment on the top floor my humble antenna:
A vertical pol. 3-bands antenna 2/70/23 a Comet GP-95.
A bit lower a horzontal pol. 9el Tonna. Both with just 7 meters good cable connected with my equipment.
Not shown: my home made low-endfed with 41 meter wire

Yaesu FT-991A

My # 1 Rig: a Yeasu FT-991A and a cup of coffee

modulation
I put a lot of effort into getting the modulation optimal.
Both with the hand microphone and with a table microphone I have excellent SSB modulation results with this modulation settings

Erik, PA0EKA
HAM-information;

Born in 1959, since 1982 "radio-active" and for more than 25 years interested in VHF and higher frequences. In the past I had a Kenwood TR-7200G, Yaesu FT-227, FT-480, FT-780, FT-690, FT-100 and some portable gear. Now I use for VHF/UHF a Kenwood TM-942 and for (V)HF a Yeasu FT-991A The (broadcast) job is mainly on the road. Therefore I was a lot QRV on repeaters in the North and Middle of the Netherlands on 23cm, 70cm and 2m.Nowadays I try to keep my latest car undemaged, so no rig inside. Mutch safer too wink
Since 1984 i am member of the Repeater Group of Heerenveen (https://www.rzghvn.nl)

On a high building of 52 meters above the local blades of grass (JO22WW)
we put antenna's for the FM-repeaters and beacon's
PI3HVN (   145,700 MHz)
PI2HVN (   430,025 MHz)
PI6HVN ( 1298,700 MHz)
PI7HVN (    432,423 MHz)
PI7HVN (    144,423 MHz)

What starts in 2006 as an funny experiment has become a real HAM-passion; The Coversity-experiment.
Together with my friend Dennis PA4DEN we started a Cochanneling and Diversity UHF-repeater station.
First there were just 2 repeater stations operating on the same frequency and within partially overlapping range,
a year later we have collaboration of 10 Repeatergroups and more then 50 HAM-radio friends and
now there are more than 20 repeater stations operating in sync on 430.275 MHz.
All together they form the repeater PI2NON (call means: North and East Netherlands).
With a huge mobile coverage of 12000 square kilometers the experiment has become to a serious project,
what combines scientific experiments and very high frequency technique.
Most importance is the fun and the support of a great amount of HAM-radio users of the repeater system.
A lot of information you can find on: https://www.pi2non.nl

I am interested in home made. I experiment with HF-antennas and tranciever components.
Sometimes its results in smoke, sometimes in a party ;-)
I like to make technical QSO's, So letst have a tele-talk

During the second half of august 2022 We rented a mountain house in Czechia
Here I may use the call: OK/PAØEKA in a little town "Benecko" (JO70SP)
The rig: good old Yaesu FT-100
The HF-arial: home made Endfed at 850m. ASL

The Endfed (20,4 m. wire) between a 10m militairy fibermast and neighbours children's swing

The mountain view from our window at 850m. ASL
